What is an Energy Performance Certificate?

The Energy Performance Certificate (epc) gives tenants and buyers information about the energy consumption of the property. It also gives the property an energy efficiency rating on an A-G scale.These are similar to those found on white goods in electrical stores.

  The average score for a property to date, is D/E, with the best being A.

             An Energy Performance Certificate can only be carried out by a qualified
